My passion for makeup artistry is more than just skin deep. Initially, the physical aspect fuelled my desire to become a makeup artist, but that soon developed into a love of connecting with people at a deeper level. The role is both intimate and transformational and often this is about more than just applying foundation and blusher!
I am particularly known for my calm approach, attention to detail and ability to produce a look that is totally natural. However, I can create any makeup look that the brief requires. I also have an instinctive eye for colour and know instantly what will work for a client.
As a makeup artist, my career has taken me to some really exciting places, including numerous film sets ("Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith" , "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and "Wimbledon"). I've also worked on worldwide campaigns for notable brands like Olay, Dove and Nivea. My fashion and beauty makeup can often be found on the pages of high-profile glossies, including Tatler, Harpers Bazaar and Vanity Fair.
After twenty years in the industry, it's really important to me that whoever sits in my chair is completely at ease during the session and wholly comfortable with the end result. In recent years I've also become convinced of the benefits of using natural, toxic-free products and use them whenever I can. This belief reflects my role as a Holistic Health Coach where I work with clients to help them take steps towards living a healthier life. I am passionate about health & wellbeing and helping everyone to be the very best versions of themselves.
Brighton is home to my makeup studio, but I'm happy to travel nationally and internationally. I am available for fashion, beauty and corporate shoots as well as weddings, events and 1:2:1 private consultations. I also run occasional Wake Up Your Makeup workshops.
